Relationship type: Clash
The Ox and Goat sit opposite each other on the zodiac wheel, a Clash (liu chong). Attraction can be strong, but values and pace collide, so patience is essential.
Elements: Earth and Earth
Both are Earth animals, sharing the same elemental temperament.
Ox and Goat in love
The Ox commits slowly but stays loyal for the long haul, while the Goat is romantic, artistic and nurturing. This works best when the Ox gets stability, routine and honesty and the Goat gets security and gentle encouragement.
Watch-outs
- The Ox's weak spot is stubborn silence when upset.
- The Goat's weak spot is pessimism under stress.
