About Trivia Quiz World
Trivia Quiz World is an independent quiz and trivia site. We publish free multiple-choice quizzes and long-read fun-fact articles across anime, cartoons, movies, celebrities, music, pop culture, animals, nature, world knowledge, famous quotes, playful personality tests, horoscope trivia and quick maths puzzles.
The site exists because most online quizzes waste the best part of trivia. They show a tick or a cross and move on. We put a written explanation on every single answer, so a wrong guess still teaches you something you can repeat later.
How a quiz gets made
Every quiz begins as a topic outline. We list what a genuine fan or student of that subject would reasonably know, then write ten to twenty questions that move from approachable to demanding. Wrong answers are written to be plausible, and where a widely believed myth exists we often use it as a decoy on purpose.
Each question is then checked against reference material: published reference works, organisational records, official filmographies, chart archives and natural-history sources depending on the topic. Explanations are written last, in plain language, and kept short enough to read between questions.
Our format rules
- Every quiz has at least ten questions. No two-question filler.
- One question per page, so each question gets your full attention.
- Every answer page explains the correct answer before you continue.
- No timers, no accounts, no forced notifications.
- Retrying is unlocked at the results page, so levels reflect complete runs.
- Answers and bookmarks stay in your own browser storage.
Corrections
We get things wrong occasionally, and we would rather hear about it. If a question or explanation is inaccurate, send us the quiz name and question number through the contact page and we will review it. Verified corrections are applied quickly.
How the site is funded
Trivia Quiz World is free to play and funded by advertising. Ad placements are kept in fixed reserved areas so the page never jumps while you are answering, and we do not place ads between an answer and its explanation. You can read more in our cookies and advertising notice.
