Relationship type: Trine
The Horse and Dog belong to the same trine (san he), a group of three animals four years apart that think alike. This is considered one of the luckiest pairings in Chinese astrology.
Elements: Fire and Earth
Fire (Horse) feeds Earth (Dog) in the generating cycle, so one partner naturally nourishes the other.
Horse and Dog in love
The Horse falls fast and needs fun and movement, while the Dog is the most faithful partner in the zodiac. This works best when the Horse gets freedom and an active social life and the Dog gets trust and shared values.
Watch-outs
- The Horse's weak spot is restlessness.
- The Dog's weak spot is anxiety and suspicion.
- Astrology is for fun; respect and communication matter most.
